Just when I have lost all faith.....God restores it!
Sometimes I feel so discouraged by todays "society". With all the "bad news" on T.V.....the way I am treated on a daily level with customer service (i.e. utility companies.etc...), or in any given industry. Sometimes I wonder if there is any "good people" left in the world. I try to tell myself that there is.....somewhere. I recently have experienced some incredible "good" in people. As you know in my recent posts, my husband has lost his job right before the holidays. My biggest concern was just to have a place to live and provide for our three kids. It's not about "the presents" for Christmas. There's plenty of time for that in life! It was merely being able to keep a place to call our home and to share meals with each other.
Well, today a miracle happened! Somebody sent us a check for a thousand dollars. I didn't think we were going to be able to pay our rent for this month. It covers a little less than half, but we have the rest to "pay the rent"! Yippee! It's amazing how God works in our lives! Just when you need it the most!
Please pray for us, for Mike, my husband to find a job soon. I know it's out there, somewhere. He is such a good man! Whoever snatches him up in the job world, will be extremely lucky! (BTW, he was an Art Director for a major toy company for 10 1/2 years.) If anyone has any leads......they would be welcomed! :)
Much LOVE,
Julie

BEACH BABY
This is my favorite picture of my daughter Mackenzie. I took it at Newport Beach in California when she was 19 months old. It seems like such a long time ago! It is taken with black and white film, sepia-toned and hand tinted with photo oils.
Self Portrait
This is my hand tinted sepia toned self portrait, printed on 100 percent archival Agfa Photo Paper. ( The old fashioned way! In the dark room!)
