Beautiful
Why does God take the most beautiful people!
I ask that question all the time! A few days ago God took one beautiful young girl! My heart aches for her survivors. She was 17 years old. She was one awesome artist!
I think God takes us home when we've learned the lessons in life we need to learn. Some learn them earlier than others. God took home a very special, beautiful young girl! I trust He has a special plan for her! I'm sure she has the most beautiful wings in heaven! She was one beautiful girl!
She will always be an inspiration for me! I LOVE you Charley!

autumn
Finally! The winds of Autumn have revealed itself to us! After a huge heat wave, I so welcome the coolness of Autumn! I must confess the time of Autumn brings such sadness for me, for it's the season I remember my beloved father passed away 26 years ago! (It still seems like yesterday!) As soon as the weather brings on the clouds and the rain I feel such a sadness, because it always reminds me of my father's death. But I have come to realize, life on this earth must be celebrated! Each and every one of us are put here for a reason! Don't waste a single minute!

This is my favorite picture of my daughter Mackenzie. I took it at Newport Beach in California when she was 19 months old. It seems like such a long time ago! It is taken with black and white film, sepia-toned and hand tinted with photo oils.
